Tabernacle?
Who we are
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to put you at ease. Tabernacle is a church filled with imperfect people trying to navigate life centered around Jesus.
Each of our services includes straightforward, practical teaching in which the Bible is unpacked and Jesus Christ is emphasized. You will enjoy the uplifting and dynamic music; and you will be encouraged to find many others seeking to know God better, just like you!
What to expect
Is there a dress code?
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed when you come to Tabernacle. There is no dress code. Sundays are exciting, and we want you to feel at home. On any given Sunday, you may see those dressed in suits and ties and others in more casual clothes. What matters to us is that you have come to worship Jesus with us!
How long are the services?
In total, you can expect the service to be about 60 minutes. Our services begin with uplifting congregational singing led by our worship leader. After the music portion of the service, Pastor Shakour will share a Bible message from our current message series.
What about my kids?
We believe that our kids are not just the future of our church but an active part of it, and at Tabernacle, we make kids a priority. Because of that, we have a very detailed check-in process that ensures your child is safe and well supervised. You may want to give yourself a few extra minutes to get your children signed in for TBC Kids for the first time. TBC Kids programs are offered for our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.
Is there something for my teenagers?
Yes, teens have a fun and engaging Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 PM.

How can I get connected with others?
To really experience Tabernacle Baptist Church, you need to check out a Connect Group Sundays at 9:00 AM. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage.
